46 million Americans struggle with addiction and just about half of them are in recovery. This journey can often be discouraging, scary and lonely, but it doesn't have to be.

Experts suggest that bouldering can alleviate withdrawal symptoms due to the natural dopamine high produced when achieving a climb. The physical problem-solving nature of bouldering allows one to confront their fears with a real ‘high’. Meet them face-to-face on the wall and choose the better buzz.

THE BOULDERING BUS

Each Bouldering Project location will partner with various addiction recovery programs, such as AA, NA and sober homes to encourage people to boulder. The Bus will offer free transportation to and from the rock gym as a supplement activity in their recovery plan.
